.......needs to work as an law enforcement officer in a border state.
This is a video from the dash cam of a Texas State Trooper who stopped two illegal aliens near Tyler, TX. I understand it is being forwarded all over Arizona as a warning of what will continue in the border states if the federal government continues to not only fail to do its job but also stops the states from getting involved.

Another example of an "inconvenient truth" I have said many times that given the Mexican Governments position, and actually aiding the effort, that it should be considered an act of aggression, and hence an act of war. It is nothing short of an invasion without the use of military, no doubt more of the same ideology where because it is civlians (as far as we know) so we shouldn't act against it. HOGWASH!!!!!

Glad the cop is ok. Did he not pat the driver down completely? They (the perps) both came out guns a blazing? Must have been way scary.

People like that should be shot on the spot. I would love to be a BP agent to help with that stuff.

Wish I'd been riding along with him for back up. THP used to always run two man units when i did my internship with them in 1978.

I'm not going to comment on anything the officer did wrong, he had his hands full. I wanted to fault him for not calling for backup sooner until I found out he didn't have a portable. This doesn't make sense for a one man car to not have a portable radio on the officer.
The original theory of one man cars, was to double the coverage of the same area by taking 2 officers and giving each a car to patrol the same area. If an officer needed help his partner should be close by.
Administrators didn't grasp the theory and decided one man cars were a great way to cut the cost in half by putting just one man on a beat instead of two.
This officer needed a hand as soon as he had trouble getting them pulled over. A partner in the car is instant backup, requesting backup is the next best thing. Not having the ability to call for backup without putting yourself at a tactical disadvantage is a tuff decission.
With all the above said, the entire incident would not have occured if the Federal Government had performed their Constitutional duty and secured our border from a forign invader.
How many times in American history has the United States used military force against Mexico because hostile forces from Mexico crossed the border into the United States?

Well Lynn you are certainly entitled to do so. I get furious everytime I think about the Police, Fire, and Rescue, and Armed Forces having to barely get by living paycheck to paycheck, while the politicians are getting fat and staying happy. They cut all manner of funding for training and equipment, and vote themselves raises. They refuse to accept the fact that they themselves are civil servants too, and as such, especially given the fact that they don't have to risk life and limb, shouldn't be making the amount of money they do. Politicians and bureaucrats, should be making less, and those that actually have to put their lives on the line, should certainly make a wage commensurate to that sacrifice, and level of commitment. Now I've ranted on too. Feel better?

We need Dwight Eisenhower back...
The effort began in California and Arizona, and coordinated 1075 Border Patrol agents, along with state and local police agencies, to mount an aggressive crackdown. Tactics employed included going as far as systematic police sweeps of Mexican-American neighborhoods, and random stops and ID checks of "Mexican-looking" people in a region with many Native Americans and native Hispanics. In some cases, illegal immigrants were deported along with their American-born minor dependent children. Some 750 agents targeted agricultural areas with a goal of 1,000 apprehensions per day. By the end of July, over 50,000 immigrants were caught in the two states. An estimated 488,000 illegal immigrants are claimed to have left voluntarily, for fear of being apprehended. By September, 80,000 had been taken into custody in Texas, and the INS estimated that 500,000 to 700,000 had left Texas of their own accord. To discourage illicit re-entry, buses and trains took many deportees deep within Mexican territory prior to releasing them. Tens of thousands more were deported by two chartered ships, the Emancipation and the Mercurio. The ships ferried them from Port Isabel, Texas, to Veracruz, Mexico, more than 500 miles (800 kilometers) to the south. Some were taken as far as 1,000 miles. Deportation by sea was ended after seven deportees jumped overboard from the Mercurio and drowned, provoking a mutiny that led to a public outcry in Mexico.[3] (the only real mistake we made... stopping the ships)

I think Teddy Roosevelt and the rough riders, would be a great tag team with Eisenhower. Add Joe Arpaio to that mix, and many would leave of their own accord. But given that they intend to reacquire California, New Mexico, Arizona and Texas. I consider that they are an invading force, and it should be considered an act of war against us. We should not stop at Identifying and deporting. Instead, we should just invade, and force them to relent. I don't care one iota about the trype we are being fed, about how Mexico is an ally. They are not. Force them into compliance.
