I think opticaly those 2 series are pretty equivalent. I assume you are comparing the Conquest to the IOR hunting scopes, right? If not, you are comparing apples to oranges if you're comparing Conquest to IOR's tactical line.

Conquest glass is DEFINITELY the best bang for the buck. If youre willing to spend the extra dough then the IOR TAC will most likely have a slight advantage on the conquest. |

Optically, IOR is a little better, but once you get into this price range, differences start getting small.

I am going to have to say IOR by a smudge... Conquest seems to be just a hair less Not that Zeiss is not up to par but the Conquest glass might be a little lower on the spectrum(maybe wrong use of terminology) I do believe the Zeiss has a better product line offering in the higher range...

If you want to choose between Conquest or IOR, in the 4-14x50 range, you should wait a few more days, to see first the new IOR 3.5-18x50.

Those new IORs with the digital illuminated reticles at SHOT show looked awesome. They seem to produce great products but get overshadowed by the other more noticeable euro scope makers. IMO
