That is a mil=dot reticled optic, not compensated for any caliber, so it is useable for the .223.

So it's not calibrated for .308.

Well, there are some caveats... SA did build several scopes "calibrated" for .308, however, I was not aware of one specifically BDCed for .308 in 6-20x56. My 6-20x56 GenIII has a mil-dot reticle. If you have the BDC stadia, could be you have a .308 "version". However, if you have a mil-dot reticle, you can use it with any caliber.
