L61R action was a type of action that Sako used in thir blt actions.  This is not a model 85 it is custom with  different components assembled togeher to be custom.  Hope I made it clearer.

If it had been in ANY other caliber than .270, I would heve bought it.  I TRIED, and TRIED, but just could not bring myself to purchase a .270...

I really have no problem with anyone who uses it, freely admit it is a good caliber. Had I started using it first, might be different, but I started using 30-06 first and just never saw a need, never saw a utility to .270.  I still don't.  Obviously, others do.  To me, it would be just another ammo type to keep track of, another ammo type to stock...
Believe me, looking at that rifle stock, I was as close to trying to purchase a .270 as I have ever been... actually closer because I truly thought about making the purchase.  I've never done that before.

Congrats to the buyer! It is a very beautiful rifle!
If it is tourist season, why can't we shoot them?

Well, the year is not over yet and i still have plenty of time to do stupid things. But so far, not buying that rifle was the most stupid thing i did this year.
That, and fishing on a lake full of 4 foot pike with 6 lb. monofilament line...
