Some pics of the recent Shultz Pass Fire north of Flagstaff. Thankfully, this one is out now!

If it is tourist season, why can't we shoot them?

I didn't take them. I received them in an email. I am trying to track down who took them now.

Those are really sweet.  Make me think back to when I was on a fire crew.  Saw some amazing stuff.  My bro was on that fire.  Said it was nasty at times.

No sir.  He was up till about a month ago, but took a position with the BLM in St. George Utah,  They love the area, minus the heat (114 today).  Too bad he moved.  It turns out the station manager was leaving and wanted him to take the job.  I think he regrets that, but it was a good move for him and his wife.  Better spot.

Awesome pictures, Bill.  They got pretty close to our cabin.  People were evacuated.  Everything turned out fine, though.

Glad your cabin is ok! Living in a hotel room during that fire was quite the ordeal. All of sudden rooms in flag were $300 a night, and managers were looking for reasons to kick us out! LOL. The firefighters were awesome! The fact that no houses burned is amazing.

It's crazy how something so destructive can be so beautiful at the same time.
