I'm trying to help a friend of mine out with purchasing a scope. It's going on top of a Remington 700 BDL in 22-250. Here are his criteria;
1) High magnification like 4X14 to 6X24 with a large ocular lens for low light shooting.
2) Max price range of 500 to 600 dollars.
Neither one of us has a lot of time to search, so we're hoping that we can get the field narrowed down by posting here. If you have personal experience with a particular scope, we would like to hear your impressions and opinions.
Thanks,
phatjohn

I have a Bushnell 6-24X 40mm (side focus) on the way for my .204 Cooper. Also comes with a 50mm objective. SF is the only way to go!

Vortex or Nikon would prob give you the best glass. Trijicon would be nice for the illumniated reticle. But Id still got with the Vortex or Nikon.
