Chill stork! They are 100 yards apart, start a new thread about your conspiracy theory.
Watch the video to see what happens when you put a Redfield Revolution with the Accu-Range reticle up against five milk jugs spaced 100 yards apart - with a massive 2400mm lens capturing it all in high definition. Now that's some contrail!

The post are spaced 100 yds apart you can tell from the focus and depth of field. Telephoto lenses compress distance and have a shorter depth of field ( what is in focus front to back). The focus was set at 400 yds which allowed you to see the hits from 100 to 500. Correct exposure is a combination of the shutter speed and the aperture opening and those two factors can be manipulated to achieve certain effects mainly regarding depth of field. The scope appears to be a good value for an entry level scope and looks like what most hunters are looking for. The fact remains that balistic reticles only hold true at the highest power of the scope and if one dials down the power to brighten the image in low light the balistic reticle will be off and only the center X hold true which is not a problem with a fixed power scope like the FX3 6x42 long range duplex or Leupolds new CDS custom dial system or other tactical / target knob systems like the 6x Super Sniper. |
