Hi Gang
I am seriously interested in buying an IOR Valdada HUNTING scope in the 4-14 X 50 or 56 mm.
Comments from people WITH THESE scopes would be appreciated.
It is for a 22-250 and will be used alot in low light condition.
I need really good glass with very good low light capabilities.
I am somewhat concerned with Valdada's warranty, repair capabilities and quality control history.
I can not afford a more expensive scope so please do not go there.
Thanks

IOR 30mm scopes have a great track record.  The one model of 35mm has been the problem child for them for the most part.  And it is on its 4th generation with very good reports on it.  I have had several 30mm IOR scopes and they have been super for me.  I would buy with confidence.

I've owned the 4-14X50 (I think it was 50) and it is indeed a bright, clear scope.

With these, as Tool said, you should be OK.

If you need illumination, get the new models, not the old model, that illumination sucked. Hard.

I Have the 4.5x14x50...  I think you will be happy with it.

I too have a 4-14X50, but the tactical model.  Mine is the older model with the less desirable illumination system and knobs, but despite that, I still like it a lot.  I wish illumination intensity would adjust lower, and the knobs ain't the best ever devised, but it has been totally foolproof and it's optically very good.

 I have the IOR Tactical 4-14 X 50.
Good scope, but I'm thinking of selling to get the Zeiss Diavari FL 4-16X50.
Maine? Where's that?

Guys
Thanks so far  for the info and I hope more keeps coming, especially from someone with the 4-14X56 hunting scope.
For you guys with the 4-14X50 were/are they the hunting modelwith standard non-tactical turrets?
How do you compare the image quality and light gathering compared to other good euro scopes??
Do you find the weight/size cumperesome on a hunting rifle?
Thanks

I have heard of a few problems with the 56mm model, but do not have any experience with it myself.

The 50mm model has been very good and is one of the most reliable IOR scopes.
