I have a cz 550 fs and I'm going to put a Kahles C 1.1-4x24 on top. I'm going to use either warne or talley qd rings. I want to put the scope as low as possible, which would be medium warne qd's. My scope has a 43mm ocular so I'm worried about the bolt handle hitting the scope while cycling the bolt. If you have warne or talley rings can you let me know what size ocular your scope has and if you have issues cycling the bolt. Thanks

I have a 1.1-4x24 C mounted on a Remington M700 in standard Talley QD's. I have plenty of bolt clearance. I don't know much about the CZ, but it looks to be fairly similar in bolt layout to the M700. Since it is a two lug design the throw should be the same. The different shape of the bolt would be the only other determining factor I could see.
I would give Talley a call for the best information. They have always been great on the phone for me. (803) 854-5700 Doug Edited by tahqua - May/16/2010 at 11:47 |
