hello all,
this is my first post on this site so bear with me, a very interesting scope just came into my possession and i need help with identification and history. unfortunately i,m not in my home country at the mo, so no photos.
the scope is 8" long x 1" and is marked

any info would be welcome, i suspect it is german possibly military.,

The Dr. F. A. Wöhler company is defunct since the early 1960's.
They were a producer of the K41 riflescope für the K98 during WWII.
They also made microscopes and binoculars.
