I have no experience with the MR-7 or XL-7 but have read nothing but POSITIVE comments on the XL-7. If choices were limited I'd have no problem buying one.

As far as the Mossberg goes?  FOR ME,there is TOO MUCH controversy about bolt separations to take a chance on one when there are so many other choices available.

My Nephew has one in a 30-06 and it has been a very dependable shooter. It feels a lot better than some of the lower editions from other companies. The price was unbeliveably low when they first hit the market and it is a good shooter. Price vs quality it is defiantly a keeper.

Folks ain't got a sense of humor no more. They don't laugh they just get sore.

Need to follow the rules. Just hard to determine which set of rules to follow
Now the rules have changed again.
