I would assume the Diavari ...but I bow to the experts.

Actually, i don't know why is everyone crazy about big scopes. I have a 2.5-8x32 that is just awesome and is my favorite scope, even though i have other larger and more expensive scopes. Yes, i did hunt with it in winter and low light.

since when is 36 and 40mm considered big??? i do believe that 40mm is pretty much a universal standard size, anything more than 50mm is big to me.

I agree, my 4X32mm Conquest lets me see well beyond legal shooting hours.

It's a matter of perspective i guess, and perception ("what is big, big is better").

That because at 4 power, 32mm  is all that is required to have more light transmission than your eye can take in. You actually only need 28mm with a 4 power to be perfect.

It all depends on how old the Diavari is and if it does or does not have T* coatings. If it does have the T star coatings the Diavari is definately better but there are some that were made that are not very desirable that I would choose the conquest over, so it depends on which Diavari it is.

i certainly will agree with that, for me 40mm is all i need. i do have a 32mm scope though, and i love it.

Seeing it's an "MC" and not a "T" it will not be as good as the current conquest.  I owned a MC up until a year ago and it isn't as nice as the Conquest.
