Haven't figured out what the heck a buck commander is, but noticed a 4-16X SF with a ballistic reticle in this new model for $259 @ SWFA. Are we talking BSA-country here, or might it be worth taking a chance on?

I briefly saw them at SHOT and they looked reasonably made scopes designed to compete against the likes of Burris FFII, Vortex Diamondback, etc.

However, I have no actual experience with them outside of the convention center.

Surely someone has had at least a little experience with one?

I would love to know what they are like as I need to purchase a new scope & this is one of the models I am considering. Scopes are very expensive in Australia compared to the US so I do not want to stuff up.
