I sold my Swarovski 8x32 ELs in favor of better eye relief in the Zeiss Victory 8x42 (at least for me). The field of view is comparable between the two but I would like more if I could for watching football games in Michigan Stadium. The Nikon 7x35 Action Extreme sports something near 489' @ 1000 yards but I'm more concern about the quality of view. I realize they're not Zeiss or Swarovski but are they decent enough to watch players 100 yards away? Thanks.

I have a pair of the Actions (non-extreme) in 8x40 that I use for a dedicated truck bino. While they are not comparable to the likes of an Alpha class bino, I think they should be adequate for casual viewing at a football game.

I think 7x35 Nikons are very nice binoculars for the money. Ultimately, for taking with you to sports events I would suggest you also look at Leupold Yosemite 6x32 and Vortex Raptor 6.5x32.
