Has any one else found that there is a certain rifle, shotgun or hand gun that when you picked it up it felt good? There are two rifles that I found that are like this. My Winchester m70 and my brothers 700 Mountain Rifle. I like a fairly hefty rifle with a wooden stock so my M70 is no real surprise to me but the Mountain Rifle is as it is quite lite though it does have a wooden stock.
As for handguns I like the feel of a 1911 and Ruger Black Hawks.

My Sako 75 is like that (to me of course).

Everytime I picked up an over and under the Beretta fit me perfectly.  Other stuff, like Brownings and Rizzinis, etc. were a bit off to me.  Side by sides the best was always the AyAs....perfect.

For me it's the Winchester Model 70 FWT's.  Remingtom Model 7's are NICE to.  One that don't feel right TO ME is the Tika T-3.

The M1 Garand, although it is heavy, has always been a favorite of mine. Otherwise, I really like my 20" barreled Rem. LTR. It's not as light as a mountain rifle, but compact and it looks and feels well-made, esp. with the H-S Precision stock.
Reaction time is a factor...

Or anything else with this stock on it. It's like that stock is made for me.

M9 Beretta

And the Remington Mountain rifle are the two that fit that bill out of the box. But any rifle with a thumbhole stock I do enjoy!

Even if I have to make it fit myself.

My weatherby .270 magnum... It just fits.
My Glock 19.
I also have a Hulu over and under that feels the same...
