What type of bipod do I need? I have Remington 700 5r with SWFA 10 x 42. I will mostly be doing target shooting at 200, 300 and 600 yards. More prone than bench. I am looking at Harris bipods. How tall do I need and do I want the swivel or standard model? Thanks

I use a 6-9" swivel on all but one of my guns.  That one the next step up in size but still swivel.  It helps on uneven terrain.

Ditto

For punching paper, sniper, etc.

Hunting, I like the 13-25"  or 13-27" (swivel) setup better.

Either a 6"-9" or 9"-13"...

Have a good look at Harris's notched and swiveled models. (S-BRM and the S-LM)
