What type of bipod do I need? I have Remington 700 5r with SWFA 10 x 42. I will mostly be doing target shooting at 200, 300 and 600 yards. More prone than bench. I am looking at Harris bipods. How tall do I need and do I want the swivel or standard model? Thanks

I use a 6-9" swivel on all but one of my guns. That one the next step up in size but still swivel. It helps on uneven terrain. |

For punching paper, sniper, etc. Hunting, I like the 13-25" or 13-27" (swivel) setup better. |

Either a 6"-9" or 9"-13"... Have a good look at Harris's notched and swiveled models. (S-BRM and the S-LM)
