They make pretty good throwin sticks from what I have heard! Look good in magazine ads, too!
If it is tourist season, why can't we shoot them?

Haters gonna hate!

If you are a mall ninja or super secret squirrel in the Delta Forces Black Ops community, this is THE scope.  Hell, it says right there, in bright white "tactical" lettering that it is government property!

I think they come with with a $10 off coupon for Captain Ken's unarmed combat vids. You'll be able to learn 84 ways to kill from the fetal position in just 2 ....30 minute lessons. WOW

When I got around to buying a Black Rifle in early 2008, I too was sucked in by the slick advertising full of buzz words, and petty pictures.
Since I never heard of them, I asked some questions about their scopes on another forum I am on.
Got the same answers there.

Never looked through one, never seen anybody with one, never will I own one.

This whole "tactical" craze has accounted for a lot crappy products, to say the least.

I agree, TactiCool has brought a lot of crap, but is making big bucks!

It has also brought some good scopes to the market with features that were previously not available or not as common, like mil-dot reticles, mil-mil and moa-moa adjustments, side focus, capless turrets, greater range of variable power, and stronger scopes.

I wont buy a scope now that doesnt have side focus and a butt load of internal adjustment.

Don't let that stop you from getting a scope.  Several good scope out there come with less interenal adjustment.  I would venture to say that over half of the folks that have more than say 50MOA never use it.  Look at the Bushnell Elites, most them have 50MOA and are great, as is the same for Trijicon.  I have seen to many guys at the range with scopes they "had to have" to get the adjustment they needed and never shoot past 100yds, ever......
