I just bought a custom Sako .270 with what was call Flur-di-lis checkering.  It looks ok and the stock is nice medium brown walnut.  The problem is that the checkering seems to blend into the stock and is not pronounced to off set it.  Is there a way to bring out more of a contrast.  I just think it would look better.

He does nice work.
If God didn't want me to play with it, he'd of made my arms shorter.
