Can anyone recommend an inexpensive gun vise? Mainly for scope mounting, cleaning, general maintenance, etc.
Any opinion of the Kolpin model ssv500? |

I don't beleive SWFA carries any in stock but if they do and i missed them from the hours and hours i have spent on their site please someone kick me in the arse for posting this....
You in NC I see as well. So shipping will not be much. The Range Rest is what I used to work on mine now and clean. They say you can shoot of it, i haven't tried but will over Easter. I think they sell for around $45.00 ish

Tipston Best Gun Vise from Midway USA. 100 bucks but the best I've seen. Got one a month or so ago. Love it.

I made my own out a car scissor jack and some steel that I had. Welded it all up. Works quite well. Adjustable elevation (very small increments) and nice and sturdy.

I've got this and like it quite a bit. Its metal and solid. I use it for scope mounting, ring lapping and cleaning and am happy with it so far. |
