Hard as I try I just can't seem to find anything that will work for what I want.

Requirements:
Clear glass (no tint)
Battery life of 800hrs or more
works well in no light
no auto shut off feature (or the ability to turn it off)

Anyone know of anything on the market that meets these specs?

Sorry boomer.... every red dot I have seen has some tint to the lenses. It is because the red dot you see is a reflection of a High intensity LED on a glass surface, and eye protection is needed. That protection comes in the form of tinting. Really no other way around this.

Eotech screen does not really have a tint.  However, Eotechs do have the auto shutoff feature that you apparently do not want.

One other thing you can try is the Leupold Prismatic sight.  It is a very different take on red dot sight, but it does work:

The Eotech also have intensity settings low enough to work in low/no light.

However, besides the auto-shutoff feature, I also don't think an Eotech will give you 800 hours of battery life.  It's more like 500 - 600 hours, tops.

Are those prismatic sights like Aipoints and EOs in that the retical doesn't need to be centered?  Sorry to brush the dust off of so many okd threads
