The time for me to pick what I want is coming close.  I have sat for hours looking and researching rifles, scope, rings and bases.  Read reviews and asked as may questions as I could with out being an annoyance.   Well, sh*t I still don't know what to get.

Option A:
Spend most the money on the rifle and build it as I go
Savage 10 bat/s-k with a SS 16x scope and limited ammo (reloads)

Option B:
Spend a little less on the rifle and more on the whole package.
Savage 10 FCP-K with the SWFA 4x9 $600 scope.  With limited money for ammo and reloading components.

Option C:
     What do you all think?

This is Go time in about 7-20 days payment will be ready for purchase!

Here is another idea. If you are really into the tacticool look look at the 10 folding choate model. Same rifle different stock $900 less(msrp).
Gives you the look gives you the $$ for optics, ammo, reloading components, also gives you the option of redoing the stock down the road if you want too.
 So I quess option D.
