I have my eye on a 99 that is like brand new trying to talk the dealer down a little.
SVT now you can see why I always say out of the box accuracy is second to none. I have had others but always trade at a loss and come back, now I just buy the Savage and work on it. I almost always buy the cheap stock and replace it with a laminate. When the stock comes in for the 7mm I'll turn it around so you can see the bolt and handle.
Maybe I'll do my colts next there are 9-10 of them in the safe. Plus the Bushmaster and a bunch of shot guns.
There isn't anymore room but a new safe is being delivered tomorrow, so I get to start again.

Next high power may be a savage but who knows with me, I may head up into Kickboxer/treeslaying caliber size first.

Nice rifles. Poor background.
Small tip...take a blanket and cover the background etc. Or take the rifles outside, your lounge etc and the same pics would look great.
No harm intended, just a friendly pointer for future pics.

Do tell........... what caliber........ what vintage? I love me some 99s. Although I have traded a few of my less desirable ones for newer guns for my sons... I still have a 99 in .300 and three 1899s in .25-35, .30-30 & .303 Savage. These were my Dad's and I won't ever get rid of them. |

8Shots I don't know the temperatures in South Africa but when I snapped the pics here in Ct. it was 25*F just a little cool to bring them all outside for pictures, besides my deck was covered in SNOW.
I should have threw up a blanket for back ground but tobe honest I never thought about it. Oh well hind sight is 20/20.

Tip it is a mid sixties gun in 250 sav. I might bite the bullet and just buy it for the safe to go along with the rest.
The real problem is finding a striker in decent shape plus anyone who has one thinks it is made of gold and are asking double the original msrp..

250 Savage is a great deer round. When my Dad passed away (3 yrs ago March 7th) he still had his 250....... I didn't get that one... I think it went to the step-kids

Kickboxer I had that as a teen ager(now 58) and it still works like it did when it was new. American made too. Keep it around for when the power goes out so I can at least listen to the news or some fool trying to sell something.
