Contact BM with the serial number tomorrow AM in Maine at 1-800-998-7928 or by email at techsupport@bushmaster.com.  They should help you out no problem...

The rate of twist may be etched on the barrel, but I'm fairly certain that rifle has a 1/9 twist.
BM make a good rifle.
If at first you don't secede...try..try again.

+1, Bushie makes some good stuff. rate of twist should be in front of front sight base, or under handguards.
As C.T. said, probably a 1/9 twist, but they also offer a 1/7 rate option.

I concur..Bushy makes a good rifle ..  twist is on the barrel . Eithe r1/9 or 1/7 should serve you well . AR's are fun, and can be quite accurate
