I would have to say A. or just line up where the x and y axis intersect right behind the front shoulder and squeeze the trigger.

Life's concerns should be about the 120lb pack your trying to get to the top of the mountain, and not the rock in your boot.

C. 2) The first between -1 and 0 and the second between 6.5 and 8. Not enough lines on the graph to be more accurate than that..........

...........I think

he is not asking where the function crosses the x axis. g(x)=f(x) except being displaced left or right by some constant.

I think that is what it is asking considering it says nothing about the change of y from f to g. Therefore we have no idea where the g will cross the y axis on the graph so all we do know is how many times it will cross the x axis between -5 and 15 which is 2. If I am  wrong please explain. Not to insult your itelligence Dale I know you are a very wise man I am just trying to understand if I am wrong and explain where I am coming from to you that is all.

the "picture" (graph)  is of f(x), the "picture" (graph) of g(x) would be 4 units to the left going through the orgin.

CFII Whacker Dale

You're exactly right I left out the fact that it would mean you have to have g(x) -4, becasue g(x)= f(x)+4 the way I was doing it would be g(x)=f(x)-4. Am I understanding now?

The answer is still 2 though... lol

g(x)=0 where f(x)+4=0. Look at the graph and think about it.
