_popupControl(); I am looking for "GOOD" scope for my new 22-250 Weatherby.  I have looked at dozens but can't quite figure out what I really want.  3-9x40, 4.5-12x40 or what?  Need some pro help here.  Thanks from S.E. Wis.

I put a Burris Signature Select 4x16x44 on my CZ 550 Varmint per the suggestion of the pros here and I think it is great.

Id watch the Bushnell 4200 3-9 the Zeiss Conquest 3-9  and when they go on sale or when you can submitt a price match to SWFA on someones sale price that would be the time to buy it.   http://swfa.com/PriceMatch.aspx

Zeiss Conquest would be great, but for a small animal like that you'd probably want at least 10-14x, and getting a Zeiss in 14x is a bit more than $400.  Maybe a Bushnell Elite 3200 or 4200 from the Sample List?  A 10x Super Sniper would be a good choice if you didn't want to go variable, though I like variables for moving targets and fast shots.
