That was just too cool...  I don't think I would have shot the cat, either.

Here kitty kitty kitty... BOOM! I am really surprised that it did not go after the goats. A lot easier to chase than a deer.
If it is tourist season, why can't we shoot them?

That is a juvenile lion, or it would have taken a goat or the deer. Regardless, if I had been behind the camera it would be at my taxidermist now...

I would have shot that cat.  It was cool to watch, but I am not fond of animals getting that close to livestock.  I have shot animals for harassing livestock. Probably would have there too just because it looked like he was going for the goats first.

Cool!  Any idea where the footage came from, Brady?

Didn't see a location on their website.

I looked up the current weather on their website and it says Camp Wood, Texas. 3 hours west of San Antonio.

Very cool.  Agree, not hungry.  That would have been interesting to watch.

I have friends around Reagan Wells outside Uvalde, they are finding deer carcasses weekly, there's either a big, hungry cat or a few cats about.

I could totally use a mountain lion rug!

I have heard that a healthy mountain lion will eat a deer a week. Doesn't surprise me that they would fine a bunch of carcasses around.

Good reason to always carry a weapon in the field ( long gun or pistol ) the next time that ol' cat might be seen he could be stalking you. I'd would have dropped him like a bad habit!

I'm not too sure about that. When it comes to killing for food vs. killing for sport, that's kind of a gray area, hard to say which is the rule and which is the exception. Especially the females...
