ILya = Illuminating, Logical yet approachable.

LRSMike, I think the Premier 3-15, Vortex Razor HD 5-20, or NF FF1 3-15 are all scopes I'd consider for less money than an S&B. Otherwise, the SS 3-9 or a Vortex PST.
Reaction time is a factor...

I think I'm going to settle it between the Zeiss and S&B the old way, have the ol lady and I rock paper scissors for who wins, any bets?

It was only a joke. The thing with scopes is, I'm tired of seeing mildots. As sniperific as i want this rifle to be, I want it to display all the things of a normal civilian weapon. You see, you get tired of seeing military weapons and sights after looking at them day in and day out. And thats the beauty about deployment, money. If I spend more on the rifle itself, I'll still get a ton of ammo, because my wife won't care, plus less money on shoes, lol oh and purses...

If you are into serious distance shooting you may want to look around Benchrest.com many of the guys there are into long distance shooting and custom tricked out rifles for distance shooting. Most benchrest rifles are not good hunting rifles, too heavy and cumbersome for fast moving targets. Their forum does have a lot of information regarding accuracy and distance shooting.
