Hello again, I have a week long deer hunting trip scheduled this fall. I am taking my new 7mm mag and Sightron SII,(Thanks for the help in picking this great scope), and I would also like to take my old .243 as a backup just in case something happens to my primary rifle. My budget is already blown this year, so I need something very inexpensive (under $75) to replace a broken Tasco. I know I can't expect much for that little money but I don't want a piece of junk either. I just want it to hold zero and be durable. A friend of mine had a Bushnell Banner that looked o.k. any suggestions?

Bushnell Banner or maybe look for a good used old Redfield or Weaver.

Bushnell Banner or Bushnell Trophy are probably your best bets. Sometimes you can find a Sightron S1 on Ebay for around that price.
