    Posted: January/11/2010 at 16:02

Tikka

The rifle is sold pending payment.

T3 Hunter (walnut and blued) in 338 Win Mag, includes factory 3-round magazine, factory Tikka rings (new, unused), factory sling swivels (new, unused), an extra 4 round removable magazine, Limbsaver recoil pad and Talley bases. Also includes factory documentation and box, and original recoil pad.
Rifle is used with 51 rounds fired, it was hunted once in 2010 during Texas whitetail season. It will shoot well under MOA with the Barnes 210 gr TSX, accounting for one deer taken at 341 lasered yards. I can find no dings on this gun anywhere, I'd give it 98% only because it has been fired. Sold as is.

Photos posted below. It is for sale because this rifle is just too modern in appearance (not traditional enough) for this rifle loony.

$495 for everything shipped UPS to your FFL in the lower 47 (California not included - sorry). USPS Money Order only.

.338 Win Mag for Texas white tail: I felt bad shooting them with a 300 Win Mag. Tough, in truth, I guess they felt worse about it than me, but I felt bad longer.

Good luck with selling it, Tikka makes a fine rifle.

Girly guns...

JUST KIDDING...

.338 WinMag sounds like an excellent choice for deer and Tikka does make a very nice rifle.  Where in Texas are you located?

Cowtown USA (Fort Worth) is the nearest Big City.

Unincorporated Tarrant County is the actual location....

I've got an old high school buddy who lives in your area.  I'll see if he is interested.  Last I spoke with him, he was looking for a good rifle with a little more ooomph than 7mmMag.

I lowered the price to $525 and posted photos from today. Also listed rifle on gunbroker.

Tommy,
We were too late.  My friend purchased a new rifle at Christmas time.  Wish I could go for it, but I'm in the market for a semi-auto.
Very nice looking rifle.  I'm surprised it has not gone yet.

Dan,

No worries! I really appreciate your help anyway!

It is a good rifle, someone will want it soon at that price. I am just more of a traditional guy, and I have a traditional project in work that needs funding.
