I have a Nikon Monarch scope that I have used for several years. I was hunting with it recently in chilly weather....at or about freezing. As I looked through for an extended period evaluating my target, it became foggy from my breath, to the point that it was ineffective.
This brings to rise a couple of questions. Would fogging like that be prevented by the Zeiss lotutech feature?
Is there a feature on Swaro Z6's that would prevent prevent fogging?
Thanks.

Most scopes lenses will fog on the exterior to some extent, especially when changes in temperature occurs IE: breathing on the lenses or when it is brought out of the house into the cold air. There are some anti fogging wipes and solutions that can be applied to help this out, but none are fool proof.

+1 on what Pyro6999 said!!!
Have a serious look at the Bushnell Elites (either the 4200 or if you're on a budget then the 3200)!!!

I have a great admiration for the Bushnell Elite Rainguard. I had one on a rifle on a hog hunt once and two other scopes. It was very cold inside the cabin, very hot outside. Even after an extended period, the Bushnell was the only one I could shoot with due to exterior "fogging". The other two scopes were very nice scopes, but had no protection similar to Rainguard.

The Sightron S2 Big Sky also is another very good scope that won't fog.I also own a few of the Bushnell Elites.
