I was browsing the Internet and ran across this Scop Featured on a Diferent Web Site, included for your information at: http://www.longrangehunting.com/articles/setting-up-scope.php.
I was interested and thought you may be as well.

The topic of Huskemaw scopes has kinda been beat to death before a time or two.
Here is one earlier thread: ILya

Did not mean to open a can of worms, nor did I intend to duplicate and previous posted topics, I was just surfing and found something I thought was interesting and wanted to share. I have been fascinated by some shooters skills at long range, and fully understand the difference, between hunting and shooting, 1000 Yard Bench matches are not about Hunting, it is about Shooting. Hunting is a 15 Yard kill with a bow and the average gun kill is only of whitetail deer is but 25 yards. My personal best shot was 264 Yards Standing offhand with a Win. .270, Rem. Model 6 Pump, fitted with a 3x9x40 Tasco World class scope yielding an 11 point Whitetail buck, my proudest kill was at 12 yards with a 50 Ca. Black powder Rifle cap lock in which I built yielding a 6 point buck First kill of a Deer, funniest kill Rem. Mt. Rifle Win. .270 35 Yards, head shot that was not intended, the deer stumbled, my buddy didn't know I was going to shoot and bumped into me, from behind causing me to fire the rifle, all with in a second or two, nice 8 point typical. Bullet went through the ear of the deer and took a chunk of Brain pan, Really did not know I had hit him but went in the direction to see where he had gone when found him laying on the ground dead. If the Moderator wants to remove the Scope Post that is fine with me. |

No need to apologize.
You did not open a can of worms. I just pointed out that there were a few Huskemaw discussions here with somewhat conflicting results. Nothing more than that. ILya

Did not mean to make you think I was upset or anything, Nothing could be futher from the truth. I have been doing a lot of Obama Bashing of late and may have sounded a bit testy, Sorry if anyone thought I was upset with the Forum of anyone on it.

Huskemaw is a gimmick scope at a high price that promises to turn every hunter (regardless of skill, ammo, rifle capabilities) into a long-range killer. According to their "marketing", Huskemaw makes long-range hunting shots easy - and it ain't easy, regardless of scope.
The few I have spoken with that actually bought one had it up for sale very quickly. Save your money, buy something that has substance. I posted on "longrangehunter.com abut a year ago regarding the Huskemaw claims and why thought they were bogus, my posts were deleted and my account closed: I guess they don't want to discuss ways to improve their product, just silence those who notice it needs improving. |

Freedom is something you take.
Respect is something you earn. Equality is something you whine about not being given. |
