I too am interested in that review, I've been very pleased with my binos and have seen their spotters - all of which are excellent.

Is Leica making it or OEMing someone else's scope.

Haven't seen that ocular on anything else, but I might have missed something, it happens.

I will try to find out, but sometimes optics people are open about that stuff and sometimes they're not. (Though if you join them at one of the "hospitality rooms" at the SHOT Show sometimes something may slip out, especially if you stay late....)

Maybe we can meet at SHOT.

As REMF (here on the OT) describes me, I'm the guy that looks like he just got out of prison.

My understanding is that it is made by Leica in Germany.

I believe they have been making "optics" for lets say ummm big booming jav/sting things for the last few years and some range finders (lense for the FGM 148, FIM 92 and the SG12 as in the link below...I think they could make a hel...heck of a scope but get out your money belts...

I have heard they got a bunch of scope gurus together to design these things.  I do like the idea of the shorter eye piece (not sure what it is called).  This allows easy mounting, forward or back.

I would be curious how it stacks up against the S&B Summit.

Rancid,

Unfortunately, ain't gonna make it to SHOT this year.

May make it to the Safari Club show in Reno, which overlaps SHOT. It is much more low-key so I get to spend more time talking to friends, both in and out of the industry.

If you make it there, I am the short guy who looks like he should be an aging member of an unsuccessful country/rock band.
