I need a scope with more eye relief

   I am looking for a scope that will provide more eye relief than the burris black diamond i currently have. This is going on a 300 ultra mag so it will have to take  a beating. The burris has been bullet proof, but i can not use all the magnification with out being hit by the scope. I was looking at the bushnell elite 6500 series. It shows 4 " eye relief. will this hold up to a 300 ultra mag? What other suggestions would you all have for a guy. $1000 or less please. Thanks

	Zeiss Conquest has 4" of constant eye relief, and is very tough.

	Which magnification range are you looking at? If 3-9x40 works for you, then Conquest is an excellent choice. Higher magnification scopes in the Conquest line are still have quite a bit of eyerelief, but about half an inch less than the 3-9x40. Bushnell Elite 6500 2.5-16x42 (if that is the model you are looking at) has full four inches of eye relief and very flexible eye placement. If you are OK with a fixed magnification scope, Leupold's FX-3 6x42 has well over four inches of eye relief. ILya
