Is a super sniper 10x42 adequate for use on an ar-30 300 win mag or is the millett trs-1 a better option. Will only be used for shooting paper out to 1200 yards max. most often 300-600 yards. also, with the ss scope what size super sniper rings do i need for on the ar-30 with 15 moa base? I'm hoping for the lows but not sure?

I'm not an AR shooter, so can't help with the rings, but based upon your stated requirements the Super Sniper will ALWAYS outperform the other...

it isn't a ar semi auto. It is a armalite bolt action rifle in 300 win mag.

BRAKE(sp) sorry rushing it...

I think they make a 20MOA base from the factory.  I had this made from Farrell Industries.

Super Sniper is the choice, hands down.
I'd rather be tried by 12 than carried by 6.
