The hawk is waiting for my wife to put the cat out for the day. She took this shot to help identify the perp if the cat disappears.

I need to keep a camera with me. We've got so many hawks and falcons around the port, it's not unusuall to see a dove, mouse, or rabbit get whacked by one. Carcusses are always hanging on the fence.
Nice pic.

  I love raptors!!

Took a pic of this little guy a few years ago when The Warden and me went to the Carolina Raptor Center, near Huntersville, NC.
He had his wing amputated from an accident.

Here's a white Redtail Hawk.

Awesome hawk...
A couple of years ago, while deer hunting, I had climbed a tree.  A hawk flew into the tree next to me with a ground squirrel.  Another hawk flew into a tree about 15 feet away.  The hawk with the squirrel shook it screeched at the other one several times as if saying "yea, I'm bad, I be EATING..."  After several minutes of posturing, the hawk with the squirrel took off and was shortl followed by the other.  It's why I LOVE to hunt...
Opinion, untempered by fact, is ignorance.

The owl's not too shabby either.  Excellent

I've seen a few snakes get picked off by hunters like these as well.

Nice pics guys!!  Thunbs Up

My wife and I belong to Rapter Rehab, and we get some cool pics in their newsletter.
Owls are spookey. I saw a huge white owl sitting on a light standard one night at the port. When he flew off it was like watching a ghost.
