I want to use a scout mount on my M1 Garand.  I need a scope with 11 inches of eye relief that won't break the bank.  Any suggestions?

You may want to look at the 2-7 Burris with the B-Plex. It has served me well. While not specificly a Scout scope it should do well. The Glass is very clear, 10" to 21" eye relief, and if the scope holds up to the recoil of a handgun a Garand won't be anything.

Did you want a fixed power or variable?

Thanks for the reply-It really doesn't matter as most shots will be 100 yards or so.

I have the leupold 2.5x scout scope on my 45/70 and like it.  Decent scope.  Fast acquisition too.

Keep the big fan spinning!
