Savage website lists it as MSRP $934.00.  Where did you hear $664?

Nice, it has a Karsten cheek piece on it.  Good for Karsten, he is a great guy.

I just hope the forend is stiff unlike some of their other stocks that touch the barrel with just a slight amount of pressure.

That model has the accu-stock with the full length Aluminium internal cradle.  It is very stiff and solid!

Sorry I have to ask but what so special about 6.5mm Norma?
Secondly why  did they indicate N?A for twist?   Surely its not a smooth bore is it?

its probably a 1:9, they are pretty well known to be very accurate, the draw is that they are usually long throated as long as you dont get one that is 6.5x.284win as opposed to the norma version. the 140gr bullets usually do very well in the 6.5x.284

I read it in the Dec. Issue of Shooting Times. On page 36 of the article The "Shooting Star" it listed the MSRP price of $664.00. I have been calling savage company they are getting 100's of call a day on the 6.5 x 284 Norma rifle. There you go supply and demand. But to me If they said it was going to be $664.00 MSRP. they ought to stand by their word. and sell it for that. I dont know that's just my opinion, I could be wrong. I would like to hear your guys comments please respond. Time are tough and compies ought to say what they mean and mean what they say. RJ
