Gentlemen.
I have a Conquest 3-9x50 that is said to be parallax free up to 100yds (if I remember correctly). I have mostly used it on shorter ranges and really like the scope so far.
Now I want to use it for hunting on ranges up to 300yds. Can this be done OR is will my aim suffer because the scope does not have parallax adjustments??
Id appreciate a word from parallax experts.
Thanks

Parallax will not be a problem if you center your eye in the ocular to get a full sight picture. Myself I never use an AO scope, don´t like them.

Is that another story with fixed power scope?

At 300 yards, you should be fine.

Parallax will not likely be a problem with that scope at 300 yds--but it's easy to check to see just how much error it has. In fact I highly recommend you shoot it at 300 yds before trying a shot that far while hunting.
