Trying to mount a Nikon Team Primos 3x9x40 on a Savage 110e Long Action 30-06 pre-accutrigger.

What mounts to use?  Current mounts on will not mount the Nikon.

Do not want to have to use the Leupolds and reverse mount the back one; is there a better option?

Any help is appreciated.

I couldn't mount the team primos on my 270 win vanguard, either.  I used the leupold bases and reversed them.  It looks fine to me, but I'd also be interested in another way of doing it.

How about this base (I think it is the right one, but you can check with the maker):

And these rings:

That should give you some mounting flexibility.

The EGW Picatinny rail should work...does anyone have a pic of how it looks mounted?

Does it block the blind magazine for loading?

I used Talley lows when mounting my primose on a 110 Savage 270.  This allowed room to the Butler Creek scope caps, still not touching the barrel and did not block the blind magazine.

For those that want a two piece system, Burris, Warne, and Weaver all make extended bases.  Extended rings are available too.
