Looks like it only lets us vote on 1 scope not multiples

I notice there is no breakdown of the different types of Euro scopes by models...

Guess I'm a little confused.. what's this thread about... just vote for every scope you like??

You can vote multiple times so what ever is trying to be accomplished might be skewed in the end.

There are a couple problems with polls like this:
1.  The structure of the poll format doesn't allow enough selections to vote on every model from every manufacturer, so as Al points out, some brands include specific models and some only the brand names.
2.  There is nothing to prevent someone from voting multiple times, as is evident with the number of votes for Docter scopes.  I highly doubt that more OT members and guests voted for Docter than any other brand, given they have a limited product offering and a very small market share.  Most likely, one person or a couple of people voted multiple times for Docter.

Therefore, the value of the information this poll provides is questionable at best.

SWFA admin needs to correct that part with the multiple votes and also allow as many slots to make it interesting for a proper poll.I'm sure it would help us all learn on the forum which scopes work and which scopes were just over rated.

Even if they did that it would still never be an accurate representation.  There are way to many other variables.  Brand loyalty being one.  Limited income, a person may only have a few scopes and never had a need to try another.  Some will think the scope they own is the cats meow and nothing could ever beat it.  Some would never admit that they brand x could be better than brand y because it costs less.   etc, etc, etc.

Best thing a person can do is first set a budget.  Then pick the features that person needs.  Size of scope in all aspects, power range, finish, adjustment style, customer service etc, etc.  Then once that is narrowed down pose the question to others with the scopes that fit your requirement and make an informed decision off of that info.

The fact is almost any $300 -$400 scope is going to be comparable to one another in glass quality, durability etc.  So if comes down to finding the other features that you need and go from there.  One person may need a very small eyepiece, while to another guy that may not matter at all.  The same would go for a $1000 scope as well.  It all comes down to fitting the scope to your needs more than a brand name.  There are so many good scope makes out now, it just makes no sense to be loyal to only one brand or style.
Lifetime warranty and excellent customer service don't mean a thing when your gun fails during a zombie attack.

You could have controlled this when you created the poll.

Also, there are several prominent brands and scope series not included in the poll -- S&B, Nightforce, Trijicon, the majority of the Burris line, etc., while at the same time, a couple of lesser brands and series that are, including a couple of discontinued scopes.

Please don't think I'm being critical of your intent, Randall.  It's just that we've done this same poll several times before in the past, and we never get a good result.  The only consistent result has been strong, fairly equally distributed votes for Bushnell, Nikon, Leupold, Swaro, and Zeiss, which isn't surprising.
