I have an opportunity to buy a pair of used Bausch and Lomb Elite 62-4210 from a friend. He does not know anything about them . Does anyone know if these are any good. When they were made ? Where they were made ? How much did they retail for when they were new . I notice that B & L binoculars are now made by Bushnell and see less expensive ... why is that ? Thanks for your help |

They were made buy a company in Japan called Light Optical Works and were excellent for their time period. I will assume that y=the ones you are looking at are 10x42? Some of the last ones made were phase coated but I would have no way of knowing when yours were manufactured. I also believe they had the Rainguard repellent coatings.
