I have run across BSA scopes that perform well, but more that require replacement.  Suggest you look at other options.  SWFA has a complete line of moderately priced scopes that will most likely serve you better... www.swfa.com, the sponsor of this forum.
Take a look at the Swift Premier.  A much better than average, great value.

Welcome aboard and good hunting...

I recommend you consider something other than BSA.

More magnification is no substitution for good glass, get lower magnification and better glass, and you will be thankful you did!
Freedom is something you take.
Respect is something you earn.
Equality is something you whine about not being given.

I looked thru one of my buddies BSA. It looked like looking thru a glass of muddy water.
I'd rather be tried by 12 than carried by 6.
