Have a Thompson Center Black Diamond 50 cal. Just got a Nikon Monarch Dot VSD scope. In Wisconsin can't use a scope on muzzleloader with magnification during muzzleloader
season. How can I mount the scope on the rear 3 tapped holes . The standard Weaver base goes over the chamber and would make tight quarters for loading. Would welcome ideas. |

If you use the red dot you selected it's set up for a weaver style base you are stuck with that system. Note this gun throws a lot of flame straight up and will damage the finish on whatever is above it. Knight rifle makes a scope protector that can be used with good success. Would have to be a magician to get the VSD on to those mounts. Heck just go iron sights.
