I bought a 35 rem. and need to get a scope for it , budget is $150. I will only be shooting 100 yards so some thing low power would be fine. Any suggestions would be great.

If money's tight a friend of mine has this scope on exactly the same rifle as you and really likes it:

how does the crossfire or the gameseeker compare to the trophy. I really like the vortex warranty.

Don't have any experience with either. Perhaps others can add. The Trophy has Rainguard and Lifetime warranty along with a 1 year no questions asked replacement warranty.

I don't think you will be dissappointed. I have one as well and really like it for bush shooting.

The legend does look pretty nice and it is in my price range. Does the trophy really have rainguard ?

Well, I know is out of your preferred price range but I would save up some more and go with this.

If you consider stretching the budget a little...the Bushnell Elite 3200 3x9x40 Firefly can be had for about $180

Hi Ngross10;
Why not look into XS sights for your marlin 336?

I was thinking of getting a peep style sight but the last 2 years the deer I have gotten I couldn't see with the naked eye, where I hunt it's thick and dark and I just happened to see some movement so I brung up my rifle and looked through the scope and sure enough there was a deer , in fact it took me a while to make out if it had horns or not before I shot. the shooting lane if you could call it that is about 100 yards and the run that the deer walk is at the far end . So i need some thing to be able to see a lil better for dusk and dawn. I really don't think I want to put a 40mm on it thou, I think 32 is about the biggest I will go. I want to keep it lite and quick.
Thanks for all the input, I really don't know to much about scopes. |

Go with a Bushnell Elite 3200 1.5-4.5x32 w/ firefly $169.95, that is a great scope especially for low light hunting
