I recently bought a Ruger 10/.22 and I was wondering if anyone had any advice as to what the best scope is for around $70. Thanks

I wouldn't say there is a "best" of anything at that price, but this one will meet your price point:

I've seen some Bushnell Banners hold up quite well on highpowers over the years.

The BSA has BDC, which has worked really well, for me, as well as mil-dot reticle. Pluses in my book. But, the Banner is a pretty good little scope. Nothing to ignore in the choice...

Add the Tasco world class to the list. Cheap but pretty reliable.

I would hit ebay up for an old Redfield tracker....I can't imagineanyone making a decent scope for under $200, let alone $100.

Martinclaybold,
Welcome to OpticsTalk.
As this forum is provided by SWFA, protocol is that we not mention links to other stores, nor provide links.
SWFA knows they don't exist in a vacuum, so not only do they provide extremely competitive prices, they offer a 110% price guarantee. Above and beyond that, however, is the excellent service they provide. Plus, there's this nifty web site...

Centerpoint is a good scope for under $70.00 mil-dot illuminated reticle, includes scope covers batteries and rings.Clear optics I would rate it as good as the Vortex Crossfire. My scope is on a Ruger 10/22 and is rated to handle the recoil of a 416 Rigby magnum...not bad for under $70 bucks.SWFA would honor the competitions price.

Seeing as martinclaybold's post contained nothing but competitor advertisement (and even that for an impressively crappy scope), I deleted it.

I have a few of the Simmon Mag 22s and have been happy with them... I do think the newer ones aren't quite as good as the older ones though.
