I put this together the other night.  Been collecting parts for it since last November, finally got the WOA barrel I wanted from back order.  Going to load up some 110 grain TSX bullets one of these days and see how it shoots, can't wait to try it.

Nice, ST!  I am in the "collecting parts" stage of a similar AR as yours.  Mine will also be a 6.8.

What is your barrel length --16"... 18"?

Dang, I just realized last night after I posted this I had forgot to buy dies.  Everyone is out of stock of the small base dies til mid Oct.  aarrrgghh

Nice rig ST.  You use small base dies for reloading all your AR's?

Hmm, just called White Oak and they said I should not need small base dies.

Anyone ever used Lyman dies, I can find those in stock.

You can try standard dies, but be ready to buy again.

I get my loaded ammo from these guys (still buying up my brass reserves to start reloading.)

My limted experience with 6.8s is that the gun really chooses the round.  I wish mine liked the 115grains, it doesn't, shoots about 1.5MOA.  It likes the 85-grain TSX, I get about .75MOA from them.

nice!
I use the Hornady Dies, no problem on the 3 different 6.8s I have owned

I usually use the 110g TTSX at 2.30 COL (PRI mag required) and 29.5-30g of RL10x or H3222

started a little load development with the 85g barnes while hunting with Bill Wilson at his ranch, the 85 punched clean through a 150lb hog

the 110TTSX do the same

Bill's digging the 6.8 as well

So to those of you in the know, are the PRI mags better than the Barrett?  Or vise versa?  I just bought two C products mags to get started.

And have any of you shot the Sierra 110 gr prohunter bullets?  How did they shoot?

I bought 200 brass from them.  I am in Pahrump 4 or 5 times a year when I go to Front Sight, might have to stop by for some ammo so I don't have to pay shipping costs.Big Smile

PRI mags allow you to reload to 2.30 COL for less pressure and closer to the lands
prohunters are great bullets and most 6.8s shoot well with them
GREAT deer round but may not be tough enough on close in shoulder shots on hogs

I was talking with Sierra today and the tech LOVES the 110 prohunter in a 270

My gun likes the prohunters pretty well, about 1 MOA, it really likes the 85-gr. TSX - which pisses me off, I want it to like the 155s.
