So after your advice, I compared the Swaro to a leupold and WOW.  You guys were right.  So now one more question before I drop the hammer.  Z3 4-12*50 or Z5 5-25*52 or PV 3-12*52.  Open fields with pretty long shots is the application.  The Z3 and Z5 are 1 inch tubes but i'm not real concerned with that after read you posts.  Is thier a differance lens or coatings.  Thanks again guys.

Is there too much of adifference between the AV discontinued and the new Z3 ?
What is it like?
I am planning to buy a riflescope to my new 300 WSM and don't know what to choose ......
