There are certainly spotters that will do that. However, bear in mind that under poor visibility or mirage conditions even the best might not work out that far. I'll leave specific recommendations to others since I can only vouch for .30 cal holes with a budget spotter out to 300 and am just now in the next day or so about to test a nicer spotter on loan from SWFA out to the ranges you're talking about. I'll put some .22 rounds into the targets and see how far back I can get.

Have you had a chance to try out that loaner scope?
I am also looking for a spotter to check 308 holes at 300 yards.

Baught a Nikon Prostaff, 48X60, from the sample list the other day.  It will do the .30 out to 500yds but as was previously mentioned at that range the mirage does eat you up.  Out to 300yds I have had no problems.  Unknown about the .223's.

If it's for range use you'll always get better resolution and a brighter view with a 80mm class spotter.  No way around it.

For that small of a hole at that distance, and variable atmospheric conditions, use a Shoot-N-C targets

Unless you have someone in the pit putting spotter markers on the hole - good luck. You might as well just start at the top end and what you get you get.

Its probably a lot cheaper to buy a 45-70 and a cheap spotting scope and punch bigger holes because .22 holes are really hard to see. My poor little  Burris spotter struggles with 30 cal at 200 yds.
