Does anyone know if the slots in the one-piece weaver bases (that accept the rings) are the same distance for different rifle bases?  The reason I ask is because I do 90% of my hunting with my T/C Encore muzzleloader which has the one-piece mount and I'm wondering if I got one-piece mounts for my Rem 700 30-06 if I could put Warne Quick Release rings and switch scopes from the muzzleloader over to the rifle.

Thanks,
Mike

They are different on many applications. Probably not very likely.
Folks ain't got a sense of humor no more. They don't laugh they just get sore.

Need to follow the rules. Just hard to determine which set of rules to follow
Now the rules have changed again.

If they don't fit but are close, a simple cut with an endmill in a Bridgeport by a machinist or a gunsmith on one of the bases should make them compatable with one another.

I suppose you could even mill (or file) the recoil lug completely out of one of the bases if you wanted to; one by itself would easily handle all the recoil an '06 would generate, and both rings would still clamp the side of the base securely as well to control any lateral movement...

That's not really a recommendation as much as it is a suggestion for you to consider.
I think I may get pounded a bit for that one...but I do think it's a reasonable option.

It is nice to be able to swap scopes around without loosening rings,
