Hi
I see some Monarch UCC on sale. what does the UCC mean? what is the difference between the non UCC model ? are the UCC models as good as the newer Monarch ( I don't see UCC over at Nikon website .)

UCC= Ultra,,,Clear,,,Coat.
The difference is in the lens coatings. The UCC is the better coating and is an excellent scope optically for the money. If you have a chance to get a UCC Monarch on sale, go for it.

I believe it stands for Ultra Clear Coat(ings). For the money, Nikon scopes are good deal IMO.
